About Us
Welcome to Worthingway Middle School!
Worthingway Middle School was built in 1965 and serves approximately 650 students in grades sixth through eighth.
Worthingway's attendance area includes students from Wilson Hill, Worthington Estates, and Worthington Park Elementary Schools.
Our school is dedicated to fostering a community where every student thrives and learns to become a solution seeker, global thinker, resilient learner, and kind, empathetic friend who will change the world.
Portrait of a Learner
At Worthingway, we believe in the power of every student to make a positive impact. Our Portrait of a Learner reflects the qualities we nurture in our students:
- Solution Seekers: We engage in problem-solving strategies to build curiosity, connections, and alternative solutions.
- Global Thinkers: We seek a variety of perspectives, investigate the world, communicate ideas, and take meaningful action.
- Resilient Learners: We adapt and evolve through change to develop our confidence and character.
- Kind, Empathetic Friends: We choose words and actions that reflect empathy, kindness, and hope.
We value the development of a connected community of learners.
